Submit Claims via Email During Online System Maintenance 

Our online claim filing service is currently undergoing maintenance. During this time, we kindly request that you submit any pre-claim or final claim requests to us via email at globalclaims@sas.dk.

Please ensure compliance with SAS Cargo’s General Conditions of Carriage for Cargo and attach necessary supporting documents to your email.

To facilitate a thorough assessment of your claim, please provide the following documentation/information:

  • Copy of AWB (Air Waybill)
  • Specification of the claim
  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list

If applicable, include:

  • Damage report
  • Delivery receipt
  • Survey report
  • Repair invoice
  • Proof of destruction
  • Letter of subrogation (if claim rights need to be transferred to a third party)

Kindly note the following time limits for filing claims:

  • Damage/partial loss: Within 14 days from receipt of the goods
  • Delay: Within 21 days from the date when the goods were ready for delivery
  • Total loss: Within 120 days from the date of issue of the AWB (Air Waybill)

Please be aware that the maximum liability for carriers is 22 SDR/kg as of December 28, 2019. We recommend reviewing your insurance coverage accordingly.
