Why SAS Cargo processes your data
SAS Cargo processes your personal data to provide the transport services you have purchased, make sure your shipment arrives at the destination and handle any issues connected with the transport. We also use this data to improve our products and services. The data is based on your booking reference and processed according to the IATA Cargo IMP messages.
Data processed by suppliers
SAS Cargo cooperates with a number of suppliers including airports, ground handling suppliers, forwarding agents, IT service suppliers, authorities and other service providers such as General Sales Agents and transport companies.
Suppliers process your personal data according to a data processing agreement (DPA) or data exchange agreement (DEA). Your data may only be used in association with services you have purchased.

Personal data related to transport is stored in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Latvia, Poland, India and the US.

Why SAS Cargo processes your data
SAS Cargo processes your personal data to deliver the transport services you have purchased and provide you with personalized offers. Providing SAS Cargo with your personal data makes it easier for you to use SAS Cargo’s digital services (through pre-filled booking dialogs, booking history, etc.).
You can opt in or out of receiving personalized offers at any time. If you choose to opt out, your personal data will no longer be processed for personalized offers.

All SAS Cargo’s partners acting as “controllers” sign a Data Exchange Agreement to ensure that they are GDPR compliant.

Request a copy of your personal data
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data SAS Cargo has on you. You may order free of charge. SAS Cargo aims to send you your personal data no later than 30 days after we receive your request.

Exercising your right to be forgotten:
You have the right to ask SAS Cargo to delete all of the information we have about you. Please note that it can take SAS Cargo a long time to delete all this information if connected to an Air Waybill as national and international regulations must be followed, and the required storing time is governed by the regulatory authorities of each country where we ship.
If you want to exercise your right to be forgotten you can send a request to SAS Cargo's Privacy Officer.

Erasure of Job Application
If you have applied for a job at SAS Cargo and want to erase your application, log in to your candidate profile at https://careers.sasgroup.net/ and then go to Options > Settings > Delete profile.
