We kindly request that you submit any pre-claim via email at globalclaims@sas.dk. If you wish to proceed with a Final Claim, please note that it must be filed with SAS Cargo Group A/S within 24 months after the occurrence of the events giving rise to claim.
Please ensure compliance with SAS Cargo’s General Conditions of Carriage for Cargo and attach necessary supporting documents to your email.
To facilitate a thorough assessment of your claim, please provide the following documentation/information:
- Copy of AWB (Air Waybill)
- Specification of the claim (Delay, damage, partial loss, or total loss)
- Amount and currency
- Invoice
- Packing list
If applicable, please also include:
- Damage report
- Delivery receipt
- Survey report
- Repair invoice
- Proof of destruction
- Letter of subrogation (if claim rights need to be transferred to a third party)
Kindly note the following time limits for filing claims:
- Damage/partial loss: Within 14 days from receipt of the goods
- Delay: Within 21 days from the date when the goods were ready for delivery
- Total loss: Within 120 days from the date of issue of the AWB (Air Waybill)
Additionally, please be aware that the maximum liability for carriers is 22 SDR/kg as of December 28, 2019. We recommend reviewing your insurance coverage accordingly.
