SAS Priority Cargo is offered on all SAS flights and trucks. SAS is continuously working to expand this network to meet your business needs.
With SAS Priority Cargo you get prioritized access to capacity, even when demand is high. Furthermore, SAS Priority Cargo is a must fly product and SAS Cargo will go the extra mile to ensure that your shipment is loaded as planned and arrives at the destination as agreed.
Shortest possible handling times
SAS Priority Cargo export, import and transfer handling times are the shortest possible. This provides the flexibility of late acceptance, early recovery and quick transfer.
Typically, handling times are 120 minutes for short- and medium-haul flights, and 180 minutes for long-haul flights.
The actual Latest Acceptance Time (LAT) and Time of Availability (TOA) will appear when you book your shipment online. For detailed information regarding handling agents, please see the Station Search on the front page.
Quick tail-to-tail transfer
At our Scandinavian hubs (CPH/OSL/STO), dedicated quick transfer teams ensure that your SAS Priority Cargo shipment is handled individually, when connection times are short.

To ensure prioritized and reliable performance for all SAS Priority Cargo shipments, certain limitations apply.
Special handling
Dangerous goods are not accepted, except for certain dangerous goods commodities – please refer to our Special Handling Codes guide for further details.
Note that LAT for dangerous goods deviates from Priority Cargo, please consult Station Information via front page.
Furthermore, Livestock is not accepted as Priority Cargo.
Booking
Booking can be made swiftly and easily on the SAS Cargo Booking Portal. By using our Booking Portal, you get an instant overview of products, prices and availability up to 18 days ahead, along with instant confirmation and many other features, saving you up to 90% of normal booking time. The Customer Support Center is also available to assist you with your needs.
When booking your shipment on sascargo.com or via the Customer Support Center, the maximum dimensions and weight are checked. Please see our Aircraft and ULD specifications.
Acceptance and ready for carriage check
Actual weight, dimensions and content are verified against the booking and Air Waybill (AWB) at cargo acceptance. If discrepancies occur, the forwarding agent will be contacted for re-booking and/or re-rating.
