SAS Cargo is pleased to announce a new global partnership with cargo.one, the leading digital air cargo procurement and sales platform. This collaboration will make it even easier for freight forwarders worldwide to access and book SAS Cargo capacity through a seamless digital experience.
Enhancing Accessibility for Freight Forwarders
With this partnership, SAS Cargo strengthens its digital presence, ensuring enhanced accessibility for forwarders looking for fast and efficient cargo solutions. By integrating with cargo.one, SAS Cargo expands its sales reach, offering real-time digital connectivity to both global logistics providers and small-to-medium enterprises (SMBs) that rely on streamlined digital booking tools.
Connecting Scandinavia to Key Global Markets
Leveraging the belly capacity of the SAS network, SAS Cargo plays a key role in air freight transportation across Northern Europe, connecting Scandinavia to major trade lanes worldwide. Operating through its main hub in Copenhagen (CPH) alongside Oslo (OSL) and Stockholm (ARN), SAS Cargo utilizes modern Airbus wide-body aircraft to ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable air freight solutions. The airline serves 135 destinations across 31 countries, handling more than 60,000 tons of goods annually.
With over 80% of SAS Cargo bookings already made online, this partnership reinforces the airline’s commitment to digitalization. By bringing SAS Cargo’s capacity into thousands of forwarders’ daily digital workflows, cargo.one simplifies and accelerates the booking process.
A Seamless Booking Experience
Starting in April, freight forwarders using cargo.one can search, quote, book, and track SAS Cargo shipments in just a few clicks. The platform will provide access to SAS Cargo’s global capacity for general cargo and temperature-controlled shipments up to 10,000 kg. Key destinations include Frankfurt, London, New York, Miami, Atlanta, Tokyo, and Seoul, with further market expansions planned in the coming months.
Markus Ek, CEO of SAS Cargo, emphasized the advantages of this partnership: “Partnering with cargo.one will deliver added convenience to customers in many markets worldwide. Freight forwarders will enjoy a seamless booking experience and an even stronger ability to utilize SAS Cargo capacity as a winning element of their daily work.”
