This milestone will enhance cargo connectivity between two key regions and provide seamless access to Seoul, Korea.

Operating four times weekly during summer and three times in winter, the route will connect Copenhagen to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport—one of the world’s busiest freight hubs, which handled over 2.76 million tons of cargo in 2023. This strategic addition to SAS Cargo’s network will enable more efficient transportation for industries such as green technology, pharmaceuticals, and seafood.

“This route opens new opportunities for SAS Cargo, connecting Scandinavia with one of the world’s leading freight hubs. It’s a valuable step in strengthening trade between two dynamic regions,” says Markus Ek, CEO of SAS Cargo.

"As a proud SkyTeam member, this new route also highlights our commitment to meeting customer demand and enhancing connectivity between two dynamic regions. Seoul, renowned as a global center of culture, innovation, and business, is a strategic addition to our growing network. We are excited to welcome passengers on board this landmark service,” says Anko van der Werff, President & CEO of SAS.

The new route will be operated by the fuel-efficient Airbus A350, designed to optimize both passenger and cargo capacity. Evening departures are scheduled to maximize efficiency and streamline connections within Europe.

Incheon International Airport’s capabilities as a global freight hub make this new connection a valuable addition for cargo customers, offering faster and more reliable solutions for intercontinental transport.
