Airbus A340 is SAS's new intercontinental aircraft for the long-haul routes to Asia.
For cargo customers the new aircraft means a significantly improved service. Compared to the Boeing 767, the new aircraft holds approximately 40 percent more cargo space - 16-20 tonnes, depending on route, weather conditions, etc.
